What we did.

Having not been touched in 50 years, the house featured a vintage mahogany coloured flooring, with walls separating each zone of the house - it was not functional for a young family nor did it have anything to boast. Varloch has turned this into a creative fusion of bespoke detailing and contemporary design, created to entertain both indoors and out with an upstairs balcony to capture ocean views.

With immense demolition work we have opened more usable rooms, giving a contemporary style to an old neighbourhood. Installation of an oversized skylight with a statement pendant light and custom shelfing unit define the living and dining zone. 2ndfloor has been overhauled to expand both the bathroom and bedroom sizes, and an extended balcony – new glass doors and windows help natural light flow in, and sliding doors to limit obstructions in a tight space.
